I guess that most of the players of NighTeam noticed a huge drop in players in the last two months, this has been mainly because the enforcement of server rules by Valve which has forced us to disable the QuickPlay traffic (The "Start Playing" button in the game main menu) as NighTeam servers isn't elegible for it due the configuration we use, the main concern is the Instant/Fast spawn feature.
We understand that one of the main reasons people plays at NighTeam is because of the fast respawn times, however, we actually need to disable them in order to receive traffic from Quickplay which would allow to fill some servers faster and get back some of the players who have left NighTeam because of servers being empty. Since i actually don't want to completly remove instant spawn from NighTeam, thanks to a forum member I've been thinking of a way to still have instant respawn on servers and also receive QuickPlay traffic, the rules are simple.
I hope that players understand that those measures are needed or else we will end with completely empty servers and at the end you won't be able to enjoy a good gaming experience at NighTeam, changes will be applied starting tomorrow, first on EU servers and later on US servers. I'm a big fan of NGT servers and it's nice to see that you've found a solution to the issue.
It would be nice to once again have numerous maps to choose from. Rest assured, I'm renewing my Account on the 14th. WankerDoodle |

I can't talk for other other players but to me SPEED is more important than fast respawn times. Good luck!! |

Good thinking, man. Hope it works! I don't mind giving up the instant spawn if it means a return to the way it was when I first came to play here (lots of players then) -- especially since you've figured out a dynamic way to implement it that allows for variable activation. I appreciate it when leadership takes the time to figure out the best solution to a problem.

This should also fix the Intel/middleroom in Turbine/spawn camping issues.

Now, what about the concerns I brought up, about engie nests becoming near-impossible to take down without instant respawn?

Update is live in EU servers, server rates have been changed for better performance too.

I have mixed feelings about this, however I guess i'll get used to it.
The servers will still have a higher max # of players right? I think the max is 31

An acceptable change, I mean.. hell It might give people a fair chance Vs Premium accounts now.. less crying over it.
